Ulike utsnitt av eit fotografi av ei bølge, knust mot ei klippe, satt saman til ein ny og større heilskap, fordelt på alle fire vegger i kantina.
Ressursar frå havet har danna livsgrunnlag for busetting på Vestlandet i århundrer. I dagens gjennomregulerte samfunn, representerer naturkreftene framleis ein variabel som mennesket ikkje kan kontrollere. Slik som ein brottsjø – ei uventa rørsle og kraft som kan sette ein ut av spel.
Sikkerhet på oljesokkelen er eit viktig tema for Oljedirektoratet og Petroleumstilsynet. Mitt prosjekt er ei påminning om det uforutsette.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Sections of a photographed wave, crushing against a rock, put together into a new and larger whole, distributed on all four walls in the canteen.
Marine resources have been the basis for settlement in Western Norway for centuries. In today's thoroughly regulated society, the forces of nature still represent a variable that man cannot control. Such as a rock wave – an unexpected movement and force that can put one out of action.
Safety on the oil shelf is an important topic for the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate and the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway. My project is a reminder of the unforeseen
