Kaufhaus Des Westens
vs The Go-Betweens
Eg gjorde ein feil i dag.
I made a mistake today. I was hungry and my plan was to go out to get a late lunch /early dinnner. Instead I went into one of the biggest department stores in the world. Ka De We is just around the corner here and it has 7 floors and an incredible amount of squaremeter on each floor. I got tempted to to enter and found myself passing endless shelves of irons, razors, coffee machines, data equipment, carpets, soaps, buiscuits, sausages, cheese, cakes, and al sorts of delicacies. I went up escalators and down escalators as my hunger was encreasing and my capability of making decisions was decreasing. I ended up in the music depatment (as I often do) and to my surprise, The Go-Betweens had made a debut as nr. 41 on the German hit-list with their new album Bright Yellow Bright Orange. The time was right for shopping.
